Deleting Your FACEITSync Account

Account & Settings 9 min read Updated Sep 24, 2026

Available in: Free, on all plans. The deletion has to be started in a browser; inside the FACEITSync Connect app the button is deliberately missing.

Deleting your account removes your FACEITSync profile and everything FACEITSync has stored for it. It does not happen at once. Your account is first marked for deletion and then waits at least 30 days, and during that waiting time a single sign-in cancels the whole thing.

Delete your account in five steps

Do these in order. Step 2 is the one people skip, and it is the one that keeps costing money.

  1. Open the page. In your dashboard, click Settings in the Account group of the left sidebar, then Delete account at the very bottom of the settings menu. It is set apart from the other sections and carries the heading Danger Zone.
  2. Cancel a running subscription first. Deleting your account cancels nothing at the payment provider. If you have a running subscription, this section shows an orange note with a link straight to Payments: go there, use Cancel subscription, then come back. More on this below.
  3. Warn anyone who depends on this account. If you manage other people's dashboards, or other people manage yours, all of those links die with the account and cannot be restored. There is a section on this below.
  4. Click Request Account Deletion. A dialog asks whether you really want this. Cancel is preselected, so a stray press of the Enter key changes nothing: you have to click Delete Account yourself.
  5. You are signed out. A short message confirms that the account is marked for deletion and you land back on the start page. Nothing else has to be confirmed, here or by email.

From here on, what matters is what you do not do. As long as you never sign in again, the request stands.

What happens during the waiting time

Your data is still there in this phase, but the account already behaves like one that is on its way out.

  • You are signed out everywhere, including every PC where FACEITSync Connect was signed in. The CS2 Game State Integration token belonging to such a PC is switched off at the same moment.
  • Your channel drops out of the public streamer lists on faceitsync.com.
  • New automatic highlight clips are no longer saved.
  • Optional emails stop. Receipts and security notices are not optional and keep coming.

Nothing is deleted yet. Sign in with Twitch again and the request is dropped: your account is simply live again, with no undo button and no confirmation message. The only thing you have to redo is the sign-in inside FACEITSync Connect on each PC, because those were revoked when you filed the request.

What happens after the 30 days

The 30 days are a minimum, not an appointment. Once they have passed, the account is due for removal, and that final step is released by a person at FACEITSync rather than by a timer. It can therefore take longer than 30 days, and it never happens earlier.

When the 30 days are up you get one last email about it, and the removal itself follows at least two days later. That email is your final reminder: sign in and the request is gone.

Do not sign in while you are waiting, not even to check: that is exactly what cancels the request. And you get no message once it is done, because by then there is no account left to write to. If you need written confirmation that your data is gone, ask for it through a support ticket before the account disappears.

What is deleted and what stays

Almost everything personal goes. The few records that stay keep no link to you.

WhatWhat happens to it
Your FACEITSync profileGone. The public page under your Twitch name stops existing.
Matches, ELO history, statisticsDeleted.
Clips and highlightsThe entries on FACEITSync are deleted. A clip that was created on Twitch stays on Twitch; FACEITSync cannot remove anything there.
Settings, chat commands, overlays, predictionsDeleted, including the commands you wrote yourself and your saved overlay setups.
Moderator linksDeleted in both directions: the dashboards you were allowed into, and the people who were allowed into yours.
Support ticketsKept as support history, but without your name. Files you attached to a ticket are deleted from storage as well.
Payment recordsKept for accounting, with the link to you removed.
Visit statisticsKept as anonymous counts, with your name and your account removed.
Your Twitch and FACEIT accountsUntouched. FACEITSync only reads your FACEIT data through the official FACEIT interface and cannot change or delete anything there.

Your subscription and the deletion

These are two separate things: deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. The subscription lives at the payment provider, the deletion only touches FACEITSync. Skip the cancellation and the payments carry on while you are no longer signed in to notice them.

So cancel first, under Settings, then Payments, with Cancel subscription. You are asked a short question about why you are leaving, which you may skip, and Premium then runs to the end of the current period instead of stopping on the spot. The orange note in the deletion section only appears when the account really has a running subscription, so if you do not see it, there is nothing to cancel.

If you moderate other channels

If you manage other streamers' dashboards, the deletion section shows you an extra warning, and the list of what you lose gains one more entry: access to those dashboards.

After the deletion you lose access to every dashboard you were let into, and every moderator you let into yours loses that access too. Nobody can hand it back, because the account that held those rights no longer exists; the rights have to be granted again to the new account. If you are the only person keeping someone's predictions or commands running, tell them before you press the button.

Deleting from the FACEITSync Connect app

The app shows the same section, but instead of the button there is a line saying that this only works in the browser, and a button labelled Open in browser. It opens the same settings page in your normal browser, where you can finish the request. The app refuses a short, fixed list of requests for security reasons, and account deletion is on it.

Smaller steps instead of deleting

Often you do not want to be erased at all - you only want one specific thing to stop. None of these deletes anything you have built up, and each of them is done in minutes.

What you actually wantWhat to do instead
Stop payingSettings, then Payments, Cancel subscription. Premium runs to the end of the period, the account stays exactly as it is.
Get your FACEIT link outSettings, then Connections, Unlink Account. Your matches, statistics and clips stay on the account and you can reconnect at any time. The CS2 link goes with it, because it was derived from your FACEIT profile.
Use a different Twitch accountYour FACEITSync profile can move to another Twitch account without any deletion. Sign in with the new Twitch account and connect the same FACEIT account: FACEITSync sees the clash and offers to move it over with the data that belongs to it. It refuses while a paid plan is still running on the old account, and for 90 days after a previous move.
Stop the emailsSettings, then Notifications, Turn off every optional email. Receipts, payment notices and security messages keep coming, because they are part of your contract.
Sign out a PC you no longer useSettings, then Devices, Log out all others. That signs out every FACEITSync Connect device as well.
Quieten the botSwitch off the commands you do not want on the Chat Commands page.

When the deletion does not work

Work down this list in order.

  1. There is no Delete account entry in the settings menu. You are looking at somebody else's dashboard. The section exists only in your own account, so a moderator working in a streamer's dashboard never sees it.
  2. You are in the app. Use the Open in browser button in the same section, or open faceitsync.com in your browser and go to Settings.
  3. The button answers with an error. Reload the settings page and try again. The request carries a security token that goes stale when the page has been sitting open for a long time or the session ended in another tab.
  4. The account is suddenly working again. Then somebody signed in with your Twitch account, and signing in cancels a pending deletion. File the request again and stay signed out afterwards.
  5. More than 30 days have passed and the profile is still there. That is normal: the 30 days are the earliest possible moment, not a promised date. Signing in to check would not restart the clock, it would cancel the request altogether, and you would have to file it again.
  6. You cannot sign in at all any more, for example because the Twitch account is lost. Then you cannot press the button yourself and the request has to go through support.

FAQ

Can I undo it? Yes, during the waiting time. Sign in with Twitch and the request is dropped. You get no confirmation of that; the account simply works again.

Does this delete my FACEIT account? No. FACEITSync only reads FACEIT through its official interface. Your FACEIT account, your ELO and your match history there are not ours to delete.

Does my Twitch account get deleted? No. Twitch is how you sign in to FACEITSync, nothing more. Deleting here changes nothing on Twitch.

Will I still be charged? Yes, if you did not cancel the subscription. Deleting the account and cancelling a subscription are two different actions, and only you can do the second one.

Is 30 days an exact date? No, it is the minimum. It can take longer, and the account is never deleted before it.

Can I come back later? You can always create a new account with the same Twitch account, but it starts empty. Nothing from the deleted account comes back.
