Stream snipers watch your stream to call out your position. A delay that runs for the whole stream fixes that, but it also makes every conversation with your chat drag. FACEITSync Connect, the free Windows app from FACEITSync, is more precise: it delays your stream only during your FACEIT matches and switches back to live on its own afterwards. On top of that you get a Streamer Party for a shared delay with your teammates, Settings Sync for your crosshair in chat, a dock right inside OBS and a setup that Connect handles with one click.
What is FACEITSync Connect?
Connect is your FACEITSync dashboard as a program for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). Chat commands, predictions and overlays work in the app just like in your browser. What you get on top is everything only a program on your PC can do: delay your stream during a match, talk to CS2 and keep track of your settings live.
Getting started takes a minute: run the installer. Then confirm with Twitch in your browser and your dashboard is there. You never type a password into the app, and if you do not have an account yet, it is created along the way.
Instant Delay: delay only when it counts
Instant Delay is the heart of Connect. Instead of a fixed delay for your entire stream, it only runs where a sniper can actually hurt you: in your FACEIT match. Your chat sees queue, veto and warmup live, so you can keep talking to them as usual.
Why it waits for the knife round
By default, Connect turns the delay on with the knife round, not during warmup. That is on purpose: plenty of matches still get dodged in warmup and never happen at all. A delay that is already running at that point would hold back your stream for nothing. If you want the veto covered as well, you can set the start earlier, for example as soon as the match is found.
Back to live right after the match
Once the match is over, Connect lets the delay run out by itself. Your viewers still get to see the final score, then you are live again without clicking anything. Want to go back sooner? Hit “Back to live”.
Your delay, your values
One page sets how much delay applies: for regular matches, for tournaments and leagues, and if you like for single tournaments with their own value, up to 10 minutes. Your chat stays in the loop: at stream start the bot tells them FACEIT matches show up a bit later, and again in each match as soon as the delay kicks in. Add the !delay command and your chat can check how much delay is active at any time.
Twitch predictions fit right in: they can open while FACEIT is still setting up the match, but they only pay out once the delay has passed. No result spoils what your chat has not seen yet.
CS2 GSI: catching the knife round instantly
Instant Delay reacts fastest with the CS2 connection, CS2 GSI (Game State Integration). CS2 then tells Connect directly when the knife round starts, and the delay kicks in right away. Without it, Connect waits for FACEIT to report the match. So GSI makes your delay faster and more reliable, and your overlay and bot get the live data from your game as a bonus.
There is nothing to set up by hand: Connect creates the CS2 file with one click, no folder hunting, no copying files. Restart CS2 once afterwards and you are set. One-click CS2 GSI is part of Premium.
In action with tizian_cs
One streamer who runs Connect in every stream is tizian_cs. Tizian has backed FACEITSync since day one, and if you drop by his channel, you see Instant Delay doing its job live.
He has been part of the scene for more than ten years. His career started in 2012, he reached the ESL One Cologne 2018 final with BIG, and in 2026 he returned to BIG as assistant coach. With that chapter closed, he is now streaming full-time for three months.
Someone who played at that level for years and most recently guided a pro team from the coaching side simply reads a round differently. Click his name: his FACEITSync profile shows whether he is live right now, and his stream is well worth a look.
One-click setup
For Instant Delay to work, OBS has to send to Connect instead of straight to Twitch. Connect takes care of that: click “Set up everything”, confirm what is about to happen, and Connect does the rest in about a minute.
- Connect finds OBS on your PC. If OBS is running, you close it briefly and Connect starts it again afterwards.
- The “FACEITSync Instant Delay” dock is added to OBS.
- Connect gets permission to start and stop OBS, protected by a password.
- The stream server in OBS is switched to Connect.
- The picture setting Twitch needs for a clean image is applied.
- CS2 gets connected.
- A 30-second test stream checks that picture, sound and delay arrive. It runs on Twitch but not live, nobody sees it.
At the end you read “Done. Your next match is protected.” Under “What was changed?” you can see every single change. If OBS is streaming at that moment, Connect changes nothing and the setup waits until your stream is over. With Streamlabs or a custom stream target, a guide walks you through it step by step.
Before every stream, the title bar of Connect shows whether OBS, CS2, Instant Delay and your Streamer Party are ready. If something is missing, a button takes you straight to the fix, and after the stream a recap shows whether every match had its delay.
OBS dock: your delay at a glance
The dock shows you right inside OBS what your delay is doing, even when the Connect window is closed. No alt-tabbing mid-match. If your delay needs you, you hear a warning sound. The setup adds the dock to OBS for you, and you find it under Docks afterwards.
Streamer Party: one delay for your whole stack
If you stream with your stack, your own delay does not help much while a teammate is live without one. Anyone hopping between your streams still sees everything. In a Streamer Party everyone runs the same delay, so no stream gives the round away.
A Streamer Party holds up to six streamers. Invite them by searching for their name, straight from the streamer list or with an invite link. Whoever leads the Streamer Party picks a value between 5 seconds and 10 minutes, and it applies to everyone. A green ring shows who is ready, and if something is missing for someone, their slot tells you what.
The streamer list fills itself with streamers you played with or against on FACEIT and shows who is live right now or in a match. Streamer Party and streamer list are free. The shared delay runs for everyone with Premium, and the trial counts.
Settings Sync: your crosshair in chat
Every stream, the same question: “crosshair?”. Settings Sync reads the settings files CS2 saves on its own and stays up to date, even if you only just changed something. Connect never touches the running game.
On your profile page at faceitsync.com/en/yourname/cs2-settings others see what you choose to share: your crosshair on a real in-game scene at its true size, with share code, plus sensitivity, video settings, keybinds and viewmodel. Anyone can download it all as a ready-made config file. Nothing shows up on your profile or in chat before you release it.
Settings Sync and sharing on your profile are free. With Premium, the bot answers !crosshair and the other settings commands with your current values.

You can try Premium free for 14 days, right inside Connect. There is one trial per account, you can cancel any time, and nothing is charged until the trial ends. If you start the setup without Premium, it offers you the trial on the spot and carries on afterwards. A strong combo: Instant Delay hides your rounds, and the Streamsniper Check names in chat who from your FACEIT lobby is watching.
Bottom line: install, set up, queue
With Connect, snipers get nothing out of your stream, and your chat is not stuck lagging behind all evening. The app is free, setup takes about a minute, and you can test Instant Delay for 14 days right in the app.
