Automatically post Twitch clips in chat

Allows your viewers to create Twitch clips directly using the !clip chat command.

Create Twitch Clips directly from chat with the !clip command

With the !clip command, your viewers can create Twitch clips directly from chat - without you clicking anything. FACEITSync uses the official Twitch API to automatically generate a clip and instantly post the link in chat. This way, highlights are captured while you are still playing.

How it works

  • 1 A viewer types !clip in chat when a highlight happens.
  • 2 FACEITSync automatically creates a Twitch clip and immediately posts the clip link in chat.
  • 3 With !clip <title>, the clip can be created instantly with a custom name.
  • 4 All clips automatically appear in the Twitch Clips Manager and additionally in the Highlights section of the FACEITSync streamer profile.

!clip title - Create clips with a custom name

With !clip <title>, viewers or the streamer can create clips instantly with a custom title. Example: !clip insane clutch 1v5 The clip is created immediately with that title and automatically displayed in the FACEITSync profile under Highlights.

Planned features

  • !clip last - Allows streamers or mods to repost the last automatically created clip in chat.
  • Moderation options: Only allowed users (e.g. mods, subs, or followers) can create clips.
  • Automatic categorization of clips (e.g. Clutch, Ace, Funny Moment).
  • Advanced dashboard management - sort, filter, and remove clips directly in FACEITSync.

Example

Viewer types: !clip insane clutch 1v5
FACEITSync replies: New clip created: twitch.tv/yourname/InsaneClutch1v5

This way, your highlight archive builds itself automatically - directly from your Twitch chat.
