FAQ
Do I need Predictions for this?
No. Smart Ads starts at FACEIT match start and works with or without Predictions.
Do Twitch's own ads go away?
Not completely: if one is due during the match, Smart Ads pushes it back up to three times, 5 minutes each. You turn this on in the dashboard and allow it once on Twitch.
Will I earn more with it?
Smart Ads turns every match into an ad break that bothers no one. So you run ads regularly without driving viewers away. What Twitch pays per ad minute is up to Twitch.
Do I need to change anything on Twitch?
A setting in the Ads Manager for the time without pre-rolls, and a one-time approval for pushing ads back. The dashboard shows you both.
Can my mods set up Smart Ads?
Yes, with the ads permission they can change the settings. Only your own account can start it and authorize it on Twitch.
