The bot announces every prediction in chat, with a link to the match. Which question gets asked depends on the prediction types you have switched on.
Three steps, and you are out of it
Match starts
FACEITSync sees your match and creates the prediction. How many minutes your chat gets to bet is up to you - from 1 to 30.
Your chat bets
Viewers put their Channel Points on one of the two answers. Then the prediction locks and waits for the result.
Match ends, prediction gets resolved
FACEITSync pulls the result from FACEIT and pays out the right side. You do not have to click anything.
What your chat bets on
Out of the box it is about whether you win the match. If you want, FACEITSync mixes it up and asks about your numbers instead.
FACEITSync works the thresholds out from your recent matches - never a gift, never impossible. Only for K/D it is the straight 1, the line everyone knows.
Bo2 and Bo3
In a series every map runs its own prediction. If you want, the map goes in the title, so even someone who just tuned in knows what it is about.
Why number predictions only run in Bo1
While a map is still running, FACEIT does not release any numbers yet - and without them the threshold cannot be set properly. A prediction nobody can set up properly is worse than none. So in Bo2 and Bo3 the win prediction is the one that runs, and it resolves in every situation.
When everyone bets on the same side
If nobody bets against it, there is nothing to win. FACEITSync checks and cancels the prediction - your chat gets its points back.

If your match is cancelled, the prediction is cancelled too and everyone gets their stake back.
Streaming with a delay?
Then the resolve can wait until your stream has caught up - otherwise your chat sees the result before it has seen the last round.
What you need
Twitch Affiliate or Partner
Predictions are a Twitch feature. Without Affiliate status they do not exist in your channel, Channel Points have to be switched on - and your stream has to be live, offline Twitch does not create a prediction.
FACEITSync as a Mod
Type /mod FACEITSync in your chat once. With mod rights the bot announces every prediction with a link to the match - without them your chat stays silent.
FACEIT linked
Your FACEIT account has to be connected to FACEITSync - that is where the match comes from, and the result at the end.
Your mods can take over
Betting time, prediction types and texts can be set by a moderator too, if you give them the right. They never get to see your Twitch password.
Frequently asked questions
Does it cost anything?
No. Predictions are in every account, even without a subscription. Premium only extends the delay for streams that run with a delay.
I am not an Affiliate yet. Can I use this?
Not yet. Twitch only gives you Channel Points predictions from Affiliate upwards. As soon as you are one, you switch the feature on in the dashboard.
Can I write the questions and answers myself?
Yes. Every prediction type has a default text you can rewrite - with placeholders for your name, the map and the threshold. Twitch allows 45 characters in the title and 25 per answer.
What happens if my match gets cancelled?
Then FACEITSync cancels the prediction. Everyone gets their Channel Points back, nobody loses anything.
Can I switch off individual prediction types?
Yes, each one on its own. Only the win prediction stays on - it is the only one that can be resolved in any situation. You can also set how often each type comes up.
Does my chat see that a prediction is running?
Yes. The bot posts the question with both answers in chat, plus the link to the match. The prediction itself sits in Twitch above the chat.
