Performance & Scalability Improvements
Over the past weeks, FACEITSync has continued to grow steadily, with over 100 new players signing up every week. Around the turn of the new year, the platform also reached an important milestone by surpassing 1,000 registered streamers.
Within just six months, FACEITSync has built a large and active base, now consisting of over 80,000 players and more than 7 million tracked matches.
This growth naturally led to increased traffic and activity across the website and APIs. During peak hours — especially when many live streamers were active at the same time — slightly higher load times were observed.
The system performance was closely monitored for several days to analyze real-world load patterns and identify performance bottlenecks. Based on these insights, targeted optimizations were implemented to resolve the issue immediately.
What’s improved:
- Significant backend performance optimizations
- All compute-intensive operations are now handled asynchronously
- Heavy calculations are processed in the background within milliseconds
- Real-time data is delivered instantly without blocking page loads
- Improved stability and response times during high traffic periods
- The system is now prepared to scale reliably to several thousand concurrent players and streamers
Result: FACEITSync is now faster, more stable, and better prepared for continued growth while delivering real-time data efficiently.
CS2 DM Server Integration (BETA)

- Real-time stat tracking (kills, deaths, K/D, headshot rate)
- Competitive DM scoring system with bonus points
- 128-tick server for precise gameplay

FACEITSync Platform Update – Stability, Scalability & New Core Features
Multiple stability and performance optimizations were rolled out across the website and backend to improve reliability and overall responsiveness.
🖥️ Scalable FACEIT Overlay Infrastructure
The FACEIT Overlay now runs on a dedicated process server. Match data is updated instantly when a match ends, and the overlay infrastructure is now fully scalable for thousands of users without performance degradation.
🎨 Overlay Configurator – Foundation Laid
Development of the new Overlay Configurator has begun. The recent improvements to the FACEIT Overlay infrastructure were necessary groundwork, allowing the configurator to integrate seamlessly into the existing system.
🔎 Improved Search – FACEIT Players Included
Search results are no longer limited to registered users. You can now find FACEIT players directly, including temporary and unclaimed profiles.
These profiles can now be:
- Refreshed with a single click
- Claimed directly from the player profile page
🛠️ Moderator Access (Control Link)
Moderator Access has been implemented and is currently being tested by selected moderators, including moderators from Olofmeister’s channel.
While originally planned as a Premium feature, it will most likely be rolled out for free to all users in the first week of January, making channel setup significantly easier for streamers and their moderators.
🤝 Upcoming Talks with Allstar.gg
A meeting with Allstar.gg is scheduled for January to discuss potential further collaborations. The goal is to expand FACEITSync with additional features built on top of the existing automatic match highlights system.
These updates lay the foundation for better scalability, easier onboarding, and more powerful tools for streamers, moderators, and players alike.

Official FACEIT Approval & Dashboard Update
🎉 Official FACEIT Approval
FACEITSync has been officially approved by FACEIT as a verified tool with access to match demo files.
We are currently waiting for the final credentials. Once received in the next few days, development of the automatic highlight clip generation will begin. The system infrastructure is already fully prepared for integration.

Work has begun on a Moderator Access system, which will allow trusted moderators to access and manage selected areas of the dashboard.
