🔧 Twitch API Stability Notice

Twitch is currently experiencing intermittent server-side issues (HTTP 500 errors), which may lead to short-term disruptions. These problems are related to backend changes at Twitch and have been occurring for several days.

FACEITSync is designed to handle such outages gracefully, and most Twitch-related errors are internally managed by the system. However, in rare cases users may experience temporary issues — including during login to FACEITSync — when Twitch API requests fail.

🖥️ Upcoming Overlay Improvements

A fully redesigned stream overlay is currently in development and will introduce several improvements:

• Display of Regional and EU Rank
• Improved customization options
• More flexible overlay elements for streamers

🎨 Enhanced Overlay Customization

The upcoming overlay version will allow streamers to customize their overlay much more extensively:

• Enable or disable individual stats such as K/D, win rate, ELO, and more
• Customize layout, fonts, and colors
• Create a visual style that matches your stream branding

Before introducing major new features, the main priority is to ensure the platform reaches maximum stability and reliability.

Once this foundation is fully optimized, a series of powerful updates and new features will follow.

🔧 Major Update – Settings Overhaul, New Overlay & More

Settings Page Revamp

The settings interface has been completely redesigned to improve usability and clarity. A built-in help guide now explains each option, making configuration easier and more intuitive.

Bot Language Control

You can now centrally control the bot language used for /announce messages and other features such as !elo, the OBS overlay, and additional bot responses.

Currently supported languages: English and German — more languages will follow soon.

🆕 New Feature – OBS Stats Overlay

A new OBS overlay is now available, displaying real-time player statistics directly on stream.

Displayed statistics include:

• K/D (last 20 matches)
• Average kills
• Headshot percentage
• Win rate (lifetime stats)

When a Twitch Prediction is active, the overlay automatically switches to a Prediction View showing:

• Total channel points
• Number of participants
• Odds for each outcome

A live preview of the overlay is available directly in your Dashboard.

⚙️ Improvements

• Prediction Handling Improved: Enhanced logic for the Prediction Cancelled feature. Twitch predictions are now resolved correctly even if FACEIT matches are aborted.
• Cron Stability: Background processes have been optimized for better reliability and performance.
• Dashboard Cleanup: The dedicated stats page has been removed. Key information such as ELO progress is now displayed directly on the dashboard homepage for a cleaner user experience.
